dARRON cOLLINS

Born in Wales, Darron began his football journey at the age of seven. he competed at senior level achieving success in both the welsh fa cup and leAgUe cup before continuing his development at swansea city fc. darron transitioned into coaCHING AT 19 AND EARNED A UEFA COACHING LICENCE. HIS WORK HAS CONSISTENTLY FOCUSED ON LONG-TERM PLAYER DEVELOPMENT AND THE CREATION OF CLEAR PROGRESSION ROUTES FOR ASPIRING PLAYERS. IN 2013, COLLINS RELOCATED TO THE UNITED STATES, JOINING TSF ACADEMY. WHILE THERE, HE WAS ONE OF A SELECT GROUP OF COACHES TO WORK WITH NEW YORK CITY FC DURING THE CLUB’S INAUGURAL MLS SEASON. HE LATER SERVED AS DIRECTOR OF COACHING AT PARAMUS UNITED BEFORE FOUNDING DC SOCCER NJ IN 2021. HIS COACHING PHILOSOPHY BLENDS BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL EUROPEAN METHODOLOGY WITH BEST PRACTICE FROM THE U.S. ACADEMY SYSTEM, PRIORITISING TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE, GAME INTELLIGENCE AND A PLAYER CENTERED APPROACH TO DEVELOPMENT.

Alex played soccer in Croatia, Norway, and England, gaining a unique perspective on diverse coaching methodologies from a young age. He transitioned to coaching in 2003, earning numerous English and European diplomas. With over a decade of coaching experience in London, Alex moved to the USA, where he worked with various clubs in New Jersey before founding Force Academy. He pioneered the integration of GPS player tracking and smart ball technology into travel soccer. His methodology combines plyometrics, biomechanics, and cutting-edge on-field technology to enhance player and team performance in a safe, fun, and educational environment. Alex maintains strong ties to top English and Spanish clubs and returns to Europe each summer to run football camps with Force.
